Today's recipient of the baseball quote of the day is one of young, exciting players in the MLB---The Red Sox, Mookie Betts. In a matter of a few years, he has turned into one of the best players in baseball. His 2015 numbers were impressive but it was this year, that put him over the top as one of the star's of the league. Though Mike Trout was the MVP, you could easily have made a case for Betts who finished second--.318 BA, 113 ribbies, 31 Home Runs, 26 stolen bases, 122 runs scored and led the league in total bases with 359. To top that off, he was also a gold glove winner in the outfield. What a future for Betts. In honor of his great play, he receives today's baseball quote of the day.
