Ted Williams Baseball Quote of the Day

The Splendid Splinter was in the news recently with the passing of John Glenn. Turns out that Williams was John Glenn's wing man in Korea. Two great American heroes.

What can you say about Williams that hasn't already been said? The man was a master with the bat and his service to our country as a major league baseball player puts him in the pantheon of great Americans.
